Have questions?
You're not alone.

Here are the answers to the things people most often wonder about: how it works, how we keep your letter safe, and what happens when it's time to send.

What kind of messages can I send?

You can write to anyone - a partner, a child, a friend, or even your future self. Some letters are for birthdays or milestones. Others are meant to be read after you're gone. If it matters to you, it belongs here.

Can I send a handwritten letter instead of writing online?

Yes. Once you've created your message in the system, you can send us your handwritten letter by post. We'll store it securely and deliver it on your chosen date.

Can I change or update my letter after it's written?

If you've written your letter online, you can edit it anytime before the scheduled delivery date. If you've sent us a handwritten letter, updates aren't possible - but you can send a new version if you'd like to replace it.

Can I add photos or videos?

Yes. You can attach media files - photos, videos, or audio - that will be shared digitally with your recipient when the letter is delivered.

Is my letter private?

Completely. Digital messages are encrypted and only accessible by the person you've addressed them to. Handwritten letters are stored unopened and never read by us.

What happens if the recipient has moved or changed email address?

We'll do our best to contact them using the information you provided. For long-term deliveries, we recommend naming a trusted contact or including delivery instructions in your will.

How does it work if I want the letter sent after I die?

We provide a short legal text you can include in your will to notify us when it's time to send your letter. You can also name a trusted contact who can trigger delivery on your behalf.

How long can you store my letter?

As long as needed. You can pay per year of storage, or choose our lifetime storage option - where we keep your letter until we're notified it's time to deliver it.

Can I send the same letter to more than one person?

Yes. You can choose to send additional digital copies to other recipients for a small extra fee.

How does delivery work?

You choose a future date for your letter to be sent. We'll store it safely and post it on that day. If you've sent us a handwritten letter, we'll hold on to it and deliver it on that day. Digital attachments are accessed via a secure private link.
